Founded in 1950 by Mathematics Teacher Bahattin Tatış with a passion for education, İzmir Private Turkish College continues to work for education with the mission of raising "contemporary, balanced, and happy Turkish youth who can make the right choices and have extensive contributions to their surroundings and themselves" in the light of Atatürk's principles and reforms. Today, with our Bahattin Tatış, Büyükçiğli, Marmaris, Bornova, and Manisa campuses, we are one of the most established and pioneering educational institutions not only in İzmir but also in the Aegean Region.
We prioritize accelerating our development daily with efforts that enhance the sustainable growth and significant achievements of our students, in light of the constantly evolving world, technology, and environmental conditions. We prepare our students for life with academic achievements shaped according to 21st-century skills and versatile education programs. We nurture young people who create new and useful ideas, approach different perspectives and cultures with respect, question, effectively use feedback, and manage and shape technology rather than just consume it.
With our education framework equipped with 21st-century skills and ITK values, our students feel the difference of being an ITK member throughout their lives. They prepare for the global world as individuals who have captured the key to life success with the education they receive.
By supporting our educational programs with nearly 75 scientific, artistic, sports, and technology club activities, we aim for our students to graduate as well-equipped individuals who can play at least one instrument, have performed on stage at least once, and have participated in at least one sports activity. Success should be multifaceted. The measure of success, along with social success, is being a healthy, balanced, and happy individual, not just academic success.
We know very well that happiness is not achieved only through academic success but through exceptional achievements and that learning is a lifelong process. We shape our educational framework with this purpose in mind.

At İzmir Private Turkish College, which demonstrates innovative and creative approaches in learning processes with an active educational approach, extracurricular activities, and learning environments aimed at developing students' individual, social, and organizational skills are prepared alongside academic education. Our distinguished educational staff plans their original educational activities, all materials used in the classroom, educational techniques, and evaluation methods in accordance with our mission and educational philosophy and prepares our students for the next level.
In our country and the world, the name İzmir Private Turkish College is frequently and respectfully mentioned thanks to the diligent efforts and achievements of our students and teachers, as well as the works of our tens of thousands of alumni who leave a mark on life.
