EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES OF İZMİR PRIVATE TURKISH COLLEGE

İzmir Private Turkish College embraces the following objectives as our ideals on all levels of education:

TO EMBRACE THE PRINCIPLES OF ATATÜRK AS THE LIGHT OF OUR INTELLECTUAL LIFE:

We believe our children should be raised and educated under the light of modern science, on the path forged by Atatürk.

TO PRODUCE STRONG AND VIRTUOUS MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY WHO ARE RESPECTFUL TO HUMAN RIGHTS:

Our children should live with the compassionate feelings of friendship and brotherhood, and be raised as socially active, strong, and virtuous individuals.

TO RAISE INQUISITIVE INDIVIDUALS:

Our children should be raised to be inquisitive and encouraged to conduct research in every field of science.

INSTILLING A STRONG AFFINITY FOR FOREIGN LANGUAGES:

Our children will need to be able to easily communicate  with their peers and colleagues in foreign countries. A good knowledge of foreign languages is very important for effective communication in a variety of cross-cultural contexts.

TO RAISE GENERATIONS WHO ENJOY SPORTS:

Our children should be taught that sports are an important avenue for healthy living and healthy generations, as well as a universal bridge for international friendships.

TO INSTIL AND DEVELOP MANAGEMENT ABILITIES:

Our students should be raised to be self-confident individuals with the ability to direct beneficial changes in the community, using their knowledge, vision, and communication skills to be effective leaders. Our students should provide an efficient model for others with their strong social values, exemplary behaviour and steady attitude.

TO INSTIL A LOVE OF ART:

Our children should be equipped with knowledge and skills to create their own art, and they should be encouraged to develop an appreciation for art in all its forms.

TAKING PART IN SOCIAL AID ORGANISATIONS AND NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANISATIONS:

Our students should be encouraged to be aware of the problems in their community and the world, and to volunteer in non-governmental organisations aimed to develop social, cultural, and environmental services beneficial to the community.
