On November 6, 2024, the İTK Bornova Campus Young Sustainability Leaders identified their project strategies in line with the Sustainable Development Goals through interactive group activities as part of strategy development training.

On November 20, 2024, following the presentation on “Biodiversity,” “Climate Crisis,” and “Ecocentric Systems Thinking,” the young participants evaluated and analyzed the data related to the “Net Zero Target” together and jointly decided how to establish connections among this data.

Within the scope of Lesson 4 held on November 27, 2024, our students began forming project teams in order to find sustainable solutions to local problems from the perspective of global goals.

On December 4, 2024, our students began forming project teams in order to find sustainable solutions to local problems from the perspective of global goals.

On December 11, 2024, participating students were divided into small groups and assigned to choose one of the Sustainable Development Goals and work on a global problem related to that goal. The group work was completed, and activity plans for the project content were created.

In Lesson 7 held on December 18, 2024, the activity work of the small group projects was planned. Project articles were written for the applications to be made, and SWOT analyses were presented.

On January 8, 2025, İTK students who successfully completed the 8-lesson Sustainable Development Youth Leaders Training Program received their participation certificates. At the same time, they reached the stage of going into the field to bring to life the project ideas they developed during the program process, which also includes an incubation process.

On January 13, 2025, the İTK Bornova Campus Young Sustainability Leaders visited Özsu Balık Üretim A.Ş. to conduct fieldwork for the project titled “Call for a Blue Deal (= Mavi Antlaşma Çağrısı).”
