We provide career planning, assessment and evaluation, and holistic guidance support to our high school students throughout their university journey.

University and the Right Career Choice
The high school period is a time when young people’s individual talents emerge and the need to orient toward a profession becomes more apparent.
Career determination studies are primarily addressed, and Ginzberg’s five-stage career development process is used within these activities.
Individual and group studies are conducted focusing on test-taking techniques, time management, and exam anxiety.
Preference counseling is provided to ensure that our students are guided correctly toward university and career life.

Mentoring System

Mentoring is a program implemented through subject teachers in our middle and high schools.

Beyond being a system aimed at getting to know students and providing guidance, the mentor teacher practice is a preventive and proactive early warning system designed to identify potential socio-emotional, academic, and behavioral risks in students’ development at an early stage.


Student-Specific Assessment, Evaluation, and Academic Monitoring System
Through ATS (Academic Tracking System), İTK students are continuously and systematically monitored academically, primarily by our Assessment and Evaluation Unit and subject teachers. With this system, the learning outcomes in which students need academic improvement are identified and the necessary support is provided. By taking learning differences into account, appropriate learning models are implemented to increase student achievement.

19.50 Parent Seminars
Inspired by the founding year of İzmir Özel Türk Koleji, the 19.50 PDR seminars are traditional parent gatherings held once a month across our five campuses and on social media, featuring expert speakers in their fields.

Psychological Counseling and Guidance Services

Psychological Counseling and Guidance is a systematic and professional support process aimed at helping individuals recognize themselves, become aware of their interests and abilities, and achieve self-actualization.

Through the Psychological Counseling and Guidance Department, all students enrolled at our school are monitored with consideration of their developmental stages. In this way, students can easily access the support they need in addressing challenges related to adolescence.

The Psychological Counseling and Guidance Department contributes to students becoming self-aware, self-confident, socially adaptable, strong in communication skills, sensitive to their environment, happy, healthy, capable of making sound decisions, able to express themselves effectively, solution-oriented, and creative individuals.

Job Shadowing and Career Activities

Job Shadowing Program

At our high schools, we organize activities within the scope of the “Job Shadowing” program to help students make informed career choices and become closely familiar with the departments and professions they are considering.

University Promotion Fair

At this event, where we bring together students from our five campuses at the Bahattin Tatış Campus, we connect our students with representatives from domestic and international universities as well as professionals who are well established in their fields. This enables students to ask their questions directly to experts and gain insight into career opportunities.

İTK Career Summit

At the traditional İTK Career Summit, we bring together high school students from İTK’s five campuses with İTK alumni who are experts in their respective fields.

Career Identification and Guidance Activities

From the high school years onward, we shape the career journey through scientific and systematic guidance.
The age range of 15–18 is a period in which students’ individual talents emerge and the need to orient toward a profession becomes apparent.

For this reason, in addition to educational and individual guidance services, the importance of Career Guidance Services is significant. At the end of high school, in order for young people to make appropriate choices regarding higher education and their future lives, their personal characteristics, life circumstances, and suitability for the profession they wish to pursue must be carefully evaluated.

Systematic recognition and orientation activities that need to be carried out in a structured manner gain greater importance during these years. Within this scope, high school guidance services at İTK Schools are implemented starting from Grade 9 through the following activities:

Studies for Boarding Students
Throughout the year, monitoring studies related to academic and social skills are carried out to support the adaptation processes of our boarding students.

İTK Graduate Profile and Values
İTK Values are addressed across all grade levels through collaboration between the PDR Department, Educational Technologies, and academic departments at İTK Schools. According to students’ grade levels, departments incorporate the value of the month into their lesson content. Social activities related to the monthly value are carried out through interdepartmental collaboration, aiming to help students internalize these values.
