• İTK MANİSA ÖZEL EĞİTİM VE ÖĞRETİM İŞLETMECİLİĞİ SANAYİ VE TİCARET A.Ş., for Manisa Campus,

are the data controllers pursuant to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”).

The data controllers within the İzmir Özel Türk Koleji affiliates will be collectively referred to as “İTK” in this information notice.

İTK presents this Information Notice to your attention in accordance with Article 10 of the KVKK and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles to Be Followed in Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform.

We hereby declare that your personal data submitted to İTK or obtained by İTK is not used for purposes other than those for which it was collected; is not processed without your explicit consent or without the existence of any of the exceptional conditions set out in Article 5 of the KVKK; is not transferred to third parties; and that all necessary administrative and technical measures are taken to ensure an adequate level of data security.

İTK processes the personal data you share verbally, in writing, or electronically via applications or enrollment interviews for student registration at the relevant school campus; student enrollment and/or renewal and/or continuation of education; applications for scholarship exams; your applications and visits to İTK campuses and affiliated units/facilities; CCTV recordings; phone calls; messaging; and website channels, as follows:

1. Fulfillment of procedures and implementation of necessary measures that are mandatory under the Ministry of National Education (M.E.B.) legislation and other applicable legislation within the scope of İTK’s activities,
2. Carrying out all managerial, administrative, financial, fiscal, and legal procedures necessary for enrolling students in İTK schools and/or exams organized by İTK, renewing enrollment, or providing education and training,
3. Ensuring the safety of life and property, and securing legal, commercial, and occupational health and safety for natural and/or legal third parties (students, employees, visitors, suppliers, business partners, etc.) present at İTK’s main campus and/or affiliated centers and units,
4. Enabling membership in student clubs within İTK or affiliated with İTK, or in independent clubs; benefiting from activities and organizations conducted under such clubs; and maintaining records required by law regarding such memberships,
5. Conducting and managing all in-person and/or distance learning and training activities, sports, trips, and social activities organized by or through İTK; fulfilling participation requests; providing information; and ensuring corporate communications,
6. Performing listing, reporting, verification, and analysis regarding the use of products and services offered across all centers and units affiliated with İTK and its subsidiaries; generating statistical and scientific data; improving our products and services accordingly; increasing satisfaction with our products and services; and making user-specific customizations within this scope,
7. Conducting market research, promotion, and necessary communications regarding the services of İTK and its subsidiaries; evaluating complaints/suggestions and managing related processes; and contacting you directly for these purposes,
8. Providing information and documents to judicial authorities or administrative institutions and organizations as required by legal obligations,
9. Managing all emergency processes,
10. Carrying out accreditation and evaluation studies for İTK and its affiliated centers and units,
11. Planning and managing the financing of all services provided and carrying out invoicing,
12. Performing risk management and quality improvement activities,
13. Managing and executing the data security process and taking all necessary technical and administrative measures for systems and applications within the scope of data security,
14. Ensuring physical premises security,
15. Creating, monitoring, and informing visitor records,

limited to these purposes. Your personal data will be deleted or destroyed ex officio or upon your request when these processing purposes fully cease to exist. In any event, the retention period for personal data shall not be shorter than the maximum periods prescribed under the applicable legislation.

İTK processes your personal data and/or special categories of personal data—depending on the nature of your relationship with us—based on one or more of the following legal grounds: obtaining your explicit consent; cases explicitly stipulated by law; necessity for the establishment, exercise, or protection of a right; necessity for processing the personal data of the parties to a contract, provided that it is directly related to the conclusion or performance of the contract; and necessity for processing data for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject. Such processing is carried out by automatic or non-automatic means.

The personal data in question may be transferred, in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the Law, limited to the purposes stated above in this Privacy Notice, within Türkiye to the Ministry of National Education and other institutions authorized under the relevant legislation; to İTK Manisa affiliates, namely Tatış Turizm Yatırım Özel Eğitim ve Öğretim İşl. A.Ş. and Tatış Eğitim ve Öğretim İşletmeciliği Tic. ve San. A.Ş.; as well as to İTK Manisa subcontractors and suppliers. Abroad, such data may be transferred to the physical or distance education platforms used by İTK and its units, and to Google and Microsoft servers, provided that such transfers are necessary for the receipt and operation of these services and subject to obtaining your explicit consent.

Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to apply at any time to the addresses of İTK listed below and request the following regarding your personal data:

1. To learn whether your personal data is processed,
2. If your personal data has been processed, to request information regarding such processing,
3. To learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether they are used in accordance with this purpose,
4. To know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,
5. To request the correction of your personal data if it is incomplete or inaccurately processed,
6. To request the deletion or destruction of your personal data if the reasons requiring processing no longer exist, even if your personal data has been processed in accordance with legal regulations,
7. To request notification of the correction, deletion, or destruction of your personal data to third parties to whom it has been transferred, if applicable,
8. To object to the occurrence of a result against you through the analysis of processed data exclusively by automated systems,
9. To request compensation for damages in case you suffer damage due to unlawful processing of your personal data.
