A respectful and conscious school life shaped by shared values.

In our school life, we carefully nurture courtesy, respect, and honesty.
Together, we create a communication environment where every student can express themselves confidently, where greeting one another and using thoughtful language are natural parts of daily interaction.

Individuals Growing with Values
At Özel Türk Koleji, students are taught to value honesty, responsibility, respect, and sensitivity in every aspect of life. They develop an awareness that democratic freedoms can only be sustained by respecting the rights of others. Our students are expected to act in accordance with these values and to represent our school culture in all areas of life. Özel Türk Koleji students grow into respectful, honest, sensitive, and responsible individuals.
Our school rules are designed not merely to ensure order, but to serve as a guiding framework that helps students become life-ready, conscious individuals.

Honesty
Honesty is the cornerstone of community life. Every student knows that all work produced during the educational process must be the result of their own effort and contribution. Lying, cheating, claiming others’ work as one’s own, or taking others’ belongings without permission are not compatible with the principle of honesty.

are incompatible with the principle of honesty.

Courtesy and Respect
Courtesy is the most important element in developing respect for oneself and for others. For this reason, everyone who communicates with others in society must pay attention to the words they use and their manner of speaking.
Within the school environment, students are expected to observe standards of courtesy in their behavior and speech toward both adults and their peers.
When a teacher or an administrator enters the classroom, students are expected to stand up beside their desks, face the adult entering the classroom, and respond appropriately to the greeting directed at them. Throughout the school day, students are expected to greet teachers they encounter with appropriate expressions such as “Good morning,” “Good afternoon,” or “Good evening.”

Friendship and Relationships
Students are expected to behave toward their friends in a courteous and respectful manner.
Mocking,
Belittling,
Judgmental remarks,
Using nicknames,
Humiliation
such behaviors are considered indicators of a lack of education or a low level of educational awareness.
Students are expected to understand the difference between appropriate jokes and humor, and inappropriate mockery or humiliation, and to show the necessary sensitivity in their relationships.

Time Management
Time is one of our most valuable resources. Being prepared and present on time for classes, ceremonies, or activities is a sign of respect for both oneself and others. For this reason, all students are expected to attend classes, activities, and ceremonies on time.

Uniform Culture

The school uniform policy is not merely a rule of order; it is an important element that supports students’ social harmony, develops a sense of responsibility, and contributes positively to academic life. Accordingly, the following rules are applied in school life:

  • Wearing the school uniform is mandatory on campus.
  • On ceremony days (Monday–Friday and official ceremonies), middle school and high school students are required to wear their shirts and blazer ceremony jackets.
  • No outerwear other than the school jacket or school sweatshirt is permitted.
  • Male students are required to wear a tie when wearing a shirt.
  • With the school uniform, only plain, dark-colored shoes without logos or embellishments may be worn. Sports shoes may be used only during Physical Education classes; outside these classes, sports shoes are not permitted on campus. (Only black sports shoes are accepted.)
  • Students are not allowed to wear jewelry such as name necklaces, earrings, rings, bracelets, or necklaces. Female students are not permitted to wear makeup, grow their nails long, apply nail polish, dye their hair, or have highlights.
  • The transition periods between summer and winter uniforms are announced to students and parents by the school administration.

Items Not Permitted at School
Students are required to strictly comply with school rules regarding items that must not be brought to school or, if brought, must be reported to school administrators.
Students are not allowed to bring the following items to school:
Toys and game cards,
Inappropriate magazines,
