In the İzmir Provincial Championship competitions organized by the Turkish Chess Federation, our Bahattin Tatış Campus primary and middle school students earned their place among İzmir’s champions with their strategic moves. Competing head-to-head against strong opponents, and finishing very close to the podium on tie-break points while collecting medals, our students are:

Stars Category: Can placed 3rd in İzmir in the Under-13 Category, finishing level on points with the 2nd place competitor, and won a trophy/medal.

Minis Category: Aden Deniz placed 4th in İzmir in the Under-9 Category, finishing level on points with the 2nd place competitor and ranking 4th on tie-break.

Minis Category: Çağrı Çetin placed 4th in İzmir in the Under-7 Category, finishing level on points with the 3rd place competitor and ranking 4th on tie-break.
