A Multifaceted High School Life and School Culture
At İTK, a strong school culture, a sense of belonging, and deep-rooted traditions hold an important place. Students develop not only academically, but also socially and culturally through the school band, school orchestra, the ITK Musical staged every year with great excitement, student clubs that support creative production, and the Student Council where students have a voice, becoming active individuals of a multicultural world.

Academic Programs and Foreign Language Education
At our Anatolian High Schools, students reach high proficiency levels in TOEFL, Cambridge, and IELTS exams through an English-focused foreign language program, and gain the opportunity to start undergraduate education directly by skipping the preparatory year at many universities. Through second foreign language education offered in German, French, and Spanish by our European Languages Department, students acquire a strong linguistic foundation for a multilingual future.

Subject-Based Education Model
Education at our Anatolian High Schools is based on:
Deepening in quantitative, equally weighted, and verbal fields,
Systematic and planned preparation for university entrance examinations,
An individual academic monitoring system conducted by an experienced teaching staff.
This model enables students to progress in line with their targeted universities and career fields.

Modern Learning Environments
FRC and FLL robotics laboratories, physics, chemistry, and biology laboratories, computer laboratories, and technology-supported classrooms provide contemporary learning environments where students can transform theoretical knowledge into practice and strengthen their research and project development skills. Lessons supported by digital educational materials, smart boards, and online platforms enrich the learning process.

International Programs and a Global Perspective
Students gain a global perspective by participating in international platforms such as DI, EYP, MUN, JMUN, ISTA, COMENIUS, and EUROSIMA. The opportunity to take part in international academic programs such as IGCSE and A Level offers students an education experience at world standards. Through European Union project studies and various overseas education programs, students gain academic and cultural experiences in different countries.

Activities, Competitions, and Project Culture
Spring festivals, culture and arts festivals, and concerts; debate, science, mathematics, software, and arts competitions; and national and international project studies are important components of ITK high school life. This rich cultural atmosphere supports students’ academic and personal development and enables them to become a part of the ITK spirit.

Awards Recognizing Academic Achievements
Projects prepared by our students each year in different disciplines are deemed worthy of awards in many national and international competitions. Achievements ranging from TÜBİTAK projects to subject-based exams conducted by foreign universities, from the Quality in Life Project and Idea Competition to worldwide organizations such as I-SWEEEP, known as the International Sustainable World Energy, Engineering, and Environment Project Olympiad, serve as a testament to the academic competence of ITK students.

Social Responsibility and Conscious Youth
At Anatolian High Schools, social responsibility initiatives are valued as much as academic development. It is aimed that every student, before graduation, takes the stage at least once, participates in a competition, or plays an active role in a project. The Kardelen İzmir Culture and History Magazine prepared by our students receiving the Historical and Cultural Heritage Conservation Incentive Award from İzmir Metropolitan Municipality is one of the concrete examples of this awareness and sensitivity.

Clubs and Student Organizations
ITK students have access to a wide range of clubs where they can discover their interests and talents:
Academic Clubs: Science Olympiads, robotics and coding, mathematics, economics and entrepreneurship, etc.
Arts and Media Clubs: Musical, theater, music and choir, visual arts, photography, etc.
Social Responsibility Clubs: TEMA projects, Environment and Social Responsibility Club, SÜGEP Academy, Interact, etc.
Sports Clubs: Basketball, volleyball, football, tennis, athletics, climbing, sailing, windsurfing, etc.
These rich club opportunities enable every student to find an activity aligned with their interests and to achieve multidimensional development.
