E-Information
As İzmir Özel Türk Koleji, we value not only our students’ academic success but also their social, emotional, and creative development. In line with this approach, we offer age-specific clubs and activities to support their growth as well-rounded individuals.
Primary School
The club activities offered to our primary school students aim to strengthen creative thinking, collaboration, and a sense of discovery. Through engaging and educational club opportunities, children have the chance to explore their interests from an early age.
At İzmir Özel Türk Koleji, the range of clubs prepared for our primary school classes is of great importance for students who are setting out to build their future. Each week, over two class hours, we expect students to gain a wide range of skills by participating in an activity they enjoy. In this way, they will be better equipped to choose the path and profession that will make them happiest in the years ahead. Club selections will be made by students via the k12.net system, and lists will be created based on their choices. For any questions regarding this process, you may contact our assistant principals.
Middle School
The club activities offered to our middle school students help them develop leadership skills, deepen their areas of interest, and gain new competencies through collaboration with their peers.
Our range of clubs is highly important for students who are setting out to build their future at our school. Each week, over two class hours, we expect students to acquire a wide variety of skills by engaging in an activity they enjoy. In this way, they will be better prepared in the coming years to choose the path and profession that will make them happiest. Some of our middle school clubs are BTEC Clubs and are part of an international certification system. Students who complete the required credits (class hours) may receive their certificates upon request. BTEC certificates can be awarded starting from Grade 7. Club selections will be made by students via the k12.net system, and lists will be created based on their choices. For any questions regarding this process, you may contact our assistant principals. For BTEC-related inquiries, please email edtech@itk.k12.tr.
High School
The club activities offered to our high school students are designed to prepare them for university life, help them gain professional skills, and support the development of a strong social network.
Club activities provide opportunities to gain new skills, ideas, and experiences, while also fostering students’ sense of responsibility and self-confidence, and guiding them toward a successful professional future. Club introductions are held during the first week of the academic year. Club selections are then made via the k12.net system under the guidance of our assistant principals. Students make a total of three club preferences, and placements are carried out by the school administration. If no specific quota is set during club introductions, each club includes a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 15 students.
